John joined TCV in 2012 and is a Principal in the firm’s London office. John’s primary investment focus is in the software, internet, and financial technology industries.

Prior to joining TCV, John was a Vice President at Summit Partners where he focused on sourcing, evaluating and executing investments across the technology sector. Prior to Summit John was based in India where he worked for the Xander Group. John started his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley in the mergers and acquisitions group.

John received an AB in economics from Harvard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. John previously competed on the men’s professional tennis tour and was a member of the Irish Davis Cup team.
