Jake joined TCV in 1997 and has been a venture capital and technology investor for over 20 years. While Jake has investment experience in multiple technology sectors, his primary focus has been in the software and technology enabled services industries.

Prior to joining TCV, Jake was an Associate with General Atlantic Partners, a private equity firm focused on late stage software and service businesses. Prior to joining General Atlantic, Jake was a member of the mergers and acquisitions group at Lazard Freres & Co, where he focused on the technology and telecom industries.

Jake received an A.B. in Geography from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School where he earned Beta Gamma Sigma honors. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Genesys, K12, OSIsoft, and Webroot. Jake also serves as a Trustee of Holderness School in Plymouth, NH.
