Background

Alberto joined TCV in 2021 and focuses on investment opportunities in the internet, software, Fintech, and technology-enabled services sectors. He supports TCV’s investment in FarEye and Dream Sports.

Prior to TCV, Alberto was an investor with Silver Lake Partners, where he focused on sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments across the software, internet, and media sectors.

He started his career as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley, working on M&A and capital market transactions within the telecom and media sectors in Europe.

Interests

Alberto was born and raised in Treviso, Italy, and moved to London after living in Milan for three years while earning his Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. Growing up, Alberto was a cyclist and could be found riding on the steepest climbs of the Giro D’Italia. Today, he remains a big sports enthusiast (football, cycling, skiing, sailing) but his passion for cooking has clearly prevailed, and he believes his carbonara pasta will soon become a unicorn.

Education

Alberto graduated with distinction from the London School of Economics (LSE), where he received an MSc in Finance and Private Equity. He also holds a BSc in International Economics, Management and Finance from Bocconi University, where he graduated cum laude.
