Background

Christian Smith is the former SVP and Chief Revenue Officer of Splunk, where he led the organization through multiple business model transformations (perpetual and on-premises to recurring and cloud), and scaled GTM over 8 years, resulting in an acquisition by Cisco. He brings more than 35 years of experience in senior leadership roles in sales and marketing and was the co-founder of several cloud-based software companies. He has deep experience with software products delivered both on-premises and in the cloud across segments with a variety of GTM models, including direct, channel, and self-service models. His recent experiences prior to Splunk include CRO of Nintex and senior leadership roles at Oracle, ATG, and Daptiv. He currently serves on the boards of Atlassian and Feedzai.
