Background

Dan has over 20 years of experience primarily with financial software for small businesses and consumers. At TCV, he is focused on helping teams scale SaaS businesses and evolve them into a platform or ecosystem of services.

Dan was most recently the EVP and General Manager of Intuit’s Consumer Group (TurboTax & Mint) where he led the transformation from DIY tax software to becoming a provider of assisted tax solutions and financial services that leverage tax data.

Before running the Consumer Group, Dan was the EVP and General Manager of Intuit’s Small Business Group (QuickBooks). He led the evolution of the business from a U.S. Desktop business to a global SaaS leader and one of the largest platforms for small business services. Dan held many additional product leadership and GM roles over his 15 years at Intuit.

Dan’s previous experience included leadership positions at Charles Schwab, Bank One Corp., and First Chicago Capital Markets.

Interests

Dan has gracefully transitioned from participating in sports to watching his kids play them. He’s also an avid Steelers fan having grown up in Pittsburgh. Dan loves hiking, snowboarding, and taking interesting trips with his family. He’s also perfectly happy cooking a Sunday night family dinner.

Education

Dan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Miami University of Ohio and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
