People do not decide to become extraordinary. They decide to accomplish extraordinary things.

Jonathan joined TCV as an Executive-in-Residence in 2018, bringing a unique set of experiences working on growth and monetization as a member of several large internet platforms. At TCV, he focuses on investments in the B2C space, assisting with due diligence and advising portfolio companies.
Jonathan was previously GM and Head of Global Growth at Pinterest, where he oversaw the product and operations teams responsible for scaling the product from a primarily female U.S. audience to well over 200 million global users. He joined Pinterest as a founding product leader of the monetization platform – defining the business model, product strategy, and building the teams that scaled one of the fastest growing ad platforms ever.
Prior to Pinterest, Jonathan led a product division within Facebook Ads focused on Insights, Measurement, Data and Targeting. He oversaw the development of Custom Audiences on mobile and web as well as native and 3rd party (FBX) targeting capabilities – responsible for meaningful revenue contribution. He also directed the development of Audience Insights – a world-class visualization and insights engine of Facebook data and business results for Ads, Pages, and Instagram.
Earlier in his career, Jonathan held various product and operations roles at leading technology companies, including Turn Inc. (acquired by Amobee/Singtel), SideStep, Inc. (acquired by Kayak), and NexTag, Inc. (acquired by Providence Equity Partners).
Jonathan joined the Peace Corps right after college and spent time in the small west African country, ‘The Gambia’. Today, he spends time catching his breath after chasing his young son around the house to get him to eat vegetables. When he’s got a few minutes to himself, you can find him in the kitchen, trying (at times successfully) to cook something adventurous, on his bike, or listening to a game of baseball on the radio (go Giants!).
Jonathan holds a B.A. in Political Science from UCLA.
